Tuesday 7-8-08

Today was another day in the life of Crystal. I try to take it one day at a time because I am use to the kids being in school. Don't get me wrong I love my kids but they can be a handful at times. You should of seen them at the store today. It was a JOKE! I can't believe how decieving they can be. You tell them to behave and that they might be able to get a dollar toy or candy for a reward. Well that used to work for my mom with us kids. Not mine they think that wrestling in the middle of the aisle is called being good and then they think if they embarrass you by throwing a fit that they will get something anyhow just to shut them up. I try to leave tham at home with their dad when I go to the store or make him go with us because they listen to him, it must be the testosterone or something because I can give them the same discipline and they walk all over me I am just about on the breaking point here. They know how to get under my skin and not even feel any remorse. Then wonder why I am in a foul mood do they not realize that it was because I spent half of my day wasting my breath trying to make them listen and now I have a headache and want some mommy time. But then that is when the realize that they upset me and think that a simple sorry is going to make my headache go away. I can't even go to the bathroom without them up my tush. I can't make an important business call without them screaming in the backround. The point of this blog is to say it is the hardest job being a stay at home mom or dad and to not get paid or even a simple thank you from time to time just takes a toll on you and I appreciate having this blog here to help vent the steam that I have let build up before I blow up on someone and have a nervous breakdown or something. I can't wait for this no kid float trip to get some relaxation me time!!!!!

Sal it is me your one and only!!!!!!!

Hey Sal it is me I can't believe that I set this up all on my own wow I am getting smart. LOL It was actually pretty easy. So anyways I will just hop back off of here for now before I am stuck on here all day and the house work doesn't get done. I have to get things packed for the lake.

I really don't know what I am doing but atleast I look like I do!

I would love to sit here and talk about whatever comes to my mind I think that it would help me to vent about somethings that have been waying on my mind. I think of myself as a good mother I make sure that my kids have clothes on their backs, shoes on their feet, a roof over their heads, a bed to sleep in, covers to cover up with, food in their tummies and I am not talking about junk food either I am talking about meals on the table... I make sure that they have their baths and their homework done. I make sure that their is always playtime involved in their busy days. When they are sick who do they come to or who do they want yeah that's right mommy. But the second that something don't go their way because you have to dicipline them for doing wrong you are the worst person on Earth. They try to give you a guilty conscious. Sometimes I feel like throwing in the towel and taking off and going on a vacation alone just to have someone pamper me for a minute. But reality sunk in and no one ever said that being a mom was going to be easy. I am not one of those moms that just wants to be there when it is convenient either I am there 24/7 and I will be there through thick and thin no matter what it takes. That way when someone asks me what do I have to show for in life I can say my family. Money can only buy the value of a thing not a person and whoever thinks differently has been corrupted by the devils ways. So when you think that because your kid has every toy that you can imagine and when they grow up you ask them what was their favorite toy or game that they played when they were younger and they can't answer you I won't feel sorry. For me I know that my kids are thrilled with my going outside and catching lightning bugs with them in the summer and in the fall it will be raking and jumping in the leaf piles. In the winter it will be making snow angels and having snowball fights maybe even building an igloo. Come the spring well that would be planting flowers and watering them just like I planted the seed of life and now I am watering them to not become corrupt in the society that the majority of this governed world has become today.

I met my wonderful husband the first time back in high school, I was with his oldest sister we were wanting to borrow his car to go out cruisin' he was in the families pool he said not inless he was going too. Well we ended up together for a little while then things just ended long distant relationships just never work out. Well then about 5 years later we met again because his sister was married to my cousin and God rest her soul my aunt passed away and we were both there paying our last respects. By then I had two kids so to be honest I wasn't interested at first. But something said just call him and talk to him you never know so I did and here we are a little over 6 years later married raising a family and still loving one another like it was the first day we met! I truly believe that my aunt is my guardian angel and that my husbands love was sent from above. He is my bestest friend, my confidant, my lover, my soul mate, my shoulder to cry own, my number one fan,and vice versa, he helps me to get to tomorrow and live through today. He is my biggest support group. .
